With Goldmine Premium 2017.1 going into beta-testing, here is a heads-up on what you can expect, as the focus is very much on you, the end-user!

Goldmine Web has a brand new landing page so when you connect from your mobile device, you will see lots of enhancements, primarily to do with Case Management, where you can view Pending & History activities as well as Notes. You can now also schedule a follow up Activity when you complete an existing one and its all Mobile responsive, which means it will auto fit to your screen size! Goldmine Web is offered free of charge with your Goldmine Premium licenses so be sure you have this installed and available for access to your database whilst on the move…this connects directly to your live database so no messing around with Sync profiles or delayed updates!

The other exciting development is with Goldmine Link, a brand new Outlook integration built from the ground up…it is simple, stable and sexy! Not often I describe technology that way, but given all the previous plug-ins to Outlook, this particular enhancement is definitely cool and well worth waiting for! You can link emails, set up auto linking, search for existing contacts in Goldmine or create new ones…lots of other useful features and it all just flows seamlessly! Again, once released it will be part of your Goldmine license so be sure to install it as it gives you the best of both worlds.

Goldmine Premium 2017.1 will also give you compatibility with SQL Server 2016 and Windows Server 2016 so that’s got you covered going forward as well.
